Default Moral Guild Issue

I'm in a guild that's been around since Tyria got pwnd. My best gaming bud and I started it. Granted he's the leader and we game a lot in GW and out. But the guild has about a dozen members and only about 4 truely active ones. I seem to be the only truely active member though. I don't want to ditch my friends but i'd like to find people who play ragularly and enjoy the PVE aspect. Going on quests and missions and just plain exploring. The guild doesn't PVP unless you choose to on your own. No "guild fees" (this concept is retarded and guilds should stop this), just a couple of folk looking to enjoy a game.

So should I leave my Guild and hope to find one or should i stick to my friends and sort of game alone?

Just be sure to let your buddy know and then find another guild. If he is truly a friend he will understand that you are a more active player and need to be in a more active guild.

Keep what you have and like and get more of want you want, would be my advice. Recruit players to your guild. Get the "fresh" ones from starter areas. Be picky but take some chances.

Just one active player that you consider a friend can make this game so much more fun.

Once you give up on playing with real people, you start to solely rely on Heroes and Henchies and it's much harder to get back into the more sociable aspect of the game.

I've been playing the game since the first week of October and have all 3 campaigns; but I have probably only grouped 3 times. It's just hard to run with the same people enough to build in-game friendships, IMO.

Having one person to play the game with, is a reason to consider yourself lucky.

And, yes, sometimes a Guild Hall and a cape aren't enough.

I prefer to be social than be solo, my main character is a N/R and I can solo fairly well, I've made my own "build" and can switch out skillz if needed, but when I try to join groups for missions they always want MM or some other predetermind "necro" I've also noticed the concept of "builds". If you're X Primary you have to be X build or no one wants you. Least that's the impression I get. No I wont Go MM but I'm a great support Necro! And just cuz i'm a NECRO doesn't mean i'm MM geesh!

I'd think it is time to move on to a guild that better suits you. Talk to your friend first about it though. Worse case is that you add your friends in the current guild to your friends list to be able to connect in game.

Well if oyu want to leave tell them, but it is probably better to find a guild to join before leaving that just leaving and getting spammed with "Pmg Join Mah Gild Plox!!" messages everywhere you go. Tell your friends why you're leaving and just do it.
